DBN Russians

DBN Russian Army, these are a mixture of Heroics & Ros
and some Irregular Minis Infantry 'Blocks'.



Russian Infantry, Jaegers in Skirmish formation & Grenadiers


Russian Cavalry - Cossacks, Hussars, Dragoons & Cuirassiers


Russian Artillery both Foot & Horse.

  1. Hi there, terrific site! So much to see! I'm building heroics armies and just wondered if you could tell me what figures you used for your cossacks in the blue jackets. I have just bought H&R cossacks and there doesn't seem to be this example within.

  2. Now now Silent! Thanks for the nice comments. The figures which I used for the cossacks are Prussian Landwher cavalry. I just snipped off the lance pennants for some & trimmed the lance down to appear as a bow for others. The brown fellas in the piccy are meant to Kalmuks. The beauty of 6mm is that you can make conversions much easier & get away with it. I hope this helps.

  3. Thanks MrF, that does help. In your pic they look very convincing for regular or guard cossacks which Heroics lack, so this is brilliant news for me! You're right it is easy to convert these chaps, for irregular cossacks I've mixed in cossacks from WWII & from the Renaissance!
