Well, here we are, our Chinese Imperial Army for the Boxer Rebellion. It's took a while putting together & info hasn't always been straightforward, but we're very happy with them. The bulk of the figures are by the superb Irregular Minis, with a few Essex & the Artillery is some Old
Minifigs. Main resource used was Ospreys Men-at-Arms "The Boxer Rebellion".
We're not planning on doing any games
around the Siege at Peking, I reckon that's a more of a skirmish game. No rather the actions that took place in the rest of China. Here's our listing, based on a 24 element opponent for the 12 element Major Powers Army. It could prove to be a tough opponent.
Chinese Imperial Army 1900
4x2Ps(4), 4x4Bl(4), 4x4Sp(3), 2x4Ms(2), 2x4Bw(2), 1-2x2Lh(2), 1-2x2Cv(3),1-2xCn(2), 2-6x4Rf(3), 1xLeader

A nice page to check out as well for the Boxer Rebellion...
Many thanks to Terry Web for info from the 'Savage Soldier'

Plus a smashing playing aid from the nice people at 'Principles of War' on Admiral Seymour's Relief attempt. We'll be running a few games based around the scenarios in this book.
